EDITORIAL TEAM

Annie.jpeg

Annie Melnick, Editor in Chief, (she/her)

Annie is a senior studying English with a minor in Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies. She loves iced black coffee, alternative rock, reality competition shows, and—as you can tell by her fields of study—feminist literature. When she’s not working on Bricolage, Annie is also the Senior Editor for Her Campus UW.

Anna Brunner, Prose Editor, (she/her)

Anna is a senior majoring in Communication with a double minor in Korean and English. Alongside Bricolage, she also co-edits for The Daily’s specials section and is an enthusiastic member of Stage Notes, UW’s musical theater RSO. In her free time, she likes to rewatch The Lord of the Rings, play pretty bad games of chess, surf Depop, and, of course, read. She also harbors a deep love for her two dogs and cat, rivaling only her affection for the em dash.

Chloe.png

Chloe Koh, Layout Editor, (she/her)

Chloe is a junior majoring in Visual Communication Design with a minor in English. She currently works as the Design Editor at The Daily, and loves all things design. When she’s not yelling profanities at Adobe Creative Cloud’s tendency to crash, she can be found watching movies, reading, crocheting, playing video games, or cooking.

Maddy Chriest, Poetry Editor, (she/her)

Maddy is a senior majoring in Oceanography with a minor in Chemistry. She is one vice president of UW’s poetry club and, naturally, loves reading and writing poetry. When she’s not spending too much time and money on books, you can find her birdwatching, daydreaming, or petting trees.

Sierra Ayers, Visual Arts Editor, (she/her)

Sierra is a junior majoring in Visual Arts with a focus in photo/mixed media. She’s a passionate artist, writer, and reader. You can always go to her for any morbid/disturbing movie or book recommendations and can find her after hours in the art building any day of the week.

OUTREACH TEAM

Emma Peterson.jpg

Emma Peterson, Director of Communication and Outreach, (she/her)

Emma is a junior majoring in Comparative History of Ideas and Comparative Literature with a minor in Business. Her pride and joy is her gorgeously formatted budgeting spreadsheet. As a shameless iPad kid, she likes doom scrolling through Instagram Reels and Facebook Marketplace while hanging off the edge of her bed. She is a floor nap enthusiast, enjoys crocheting silly little hats, and takes every opportunity to talk about her 14 lb cat.

Alisha.jpeg

Alisha Bose, Outreach Coordinator, (she/her)

Alisha is a sophomore majoring in Human Centered Design and Engineering with a minor in Disability Studies. She’s a major fan of collecting vinyls, writing screenplays, and reading books rated one star on Goodreads instead of her extensive TBR. When she’s not moping around because she misses her dog, Cosmo, she’s working as Graphics Director at the UW Society of Women Engineers, and the technical team of GoBabyGo!

IMG_9478.jpg

Asma Masude, Social Media Coordinator, (she/her)

Asma is a junior studying LSJ and Informatics. Her greatest accomplishment and red flag is her ridiculously high Candy Crush score (level 14,165). When she’s not squandering her life away online, she enjoys staring at the ocean, crocheting, consuming, and creating via brain vomiting into a variety of formats. You can also find her working at the ASUW Gender Equity Commission!

EmmaH.JPG

Emma Hong, Finance Coordinator, (she/her)

Emma is a junior studying English Literature with a minor in Informatics. She’s an enthusiastic reader with a fondness for editorial work and takes comfort in tracking her media interests on Notion and Letterboxd. She also loves long spontaneous walks, short naps in her bed, and cooking breakfast food for dinner. Between classes she can be found working at the Odegaard Writing and Research Center or playing all the New York Times games.

FIRST YEAR REPRESENTATIVES

KateL.JPG

Kate Lawson, Editorial Rep, (she/her)

Kate is a freshman double majoring in Political Science and International Studies with a minor in Dance. She loves 70s rock, pressing flowers, and going on adventures to find new writing spots. When she is not rehearsing with UW’s Dance Student Association, she can be found rocking out at Songwriters’ Circle or sipping an iced latte at Poetry Club.

HarrisonProw.JPG

Harrison Prow, Outreach Rep, (he/him)

Harrison is a freshman double majoring in Business Management and International Studies. He loves when the leaves turn orange and the 2 weeks of fall when it’s cold but not rainy. He does the Washington Post crossword every day and misses his dog. When he’s not getting lost on the way to class, he’s playing frisbee, planning a hike, or wandering around the Odegaard stacks instead of doing work.
