Our mission is to collect works of high-quality prose, poetry, and visual art to produce an annual journal showcasing the creativity of UW’s talented and diverse community.

Emma Peterson, Editor in Chief, (she/her)
Emma is a senior majoring in Comparative History of Ideas and Global Literary Studies. She’s a semi-avid crochet enthusiast and loves to tinker with her 6-tab personal budget spreadsheet.
Kate Lawson, Poetry Editor, (she/her)
Kate is a sophomore studying Political Economy with a minor in Dance. In her free time she enjoys observing trees, making espresso after 5 pm, and organizing her google calendar.
Hannah Ahn,Visual Arts Editor, (she/her)
Hannah is a senior majoring in art with an interdisciplinary visual arts concentration and is also a second year team member of The BASEMENT. She likes to spend her free time rewatching Tusk and enjoys persuading other people to also watch Tusk.
Joy Koston, Prose Editor, (she/her)
Joy is a senior majoring in Entrepreneurship and minoring in Linguistics (business in the front, party in the back). Her main hobbies are writing and reading, but there’s always time for the New York Times crossword, Twin Peaks, and browsing jellycat.com
Penny Baltimore, Layout Editor, (they/them)
Penny is a senior studying Interdisciplinary Visual Arts with a minor in Anthropology. They have been involved with school radio, choir, and have a deep love for the arts. You can find them painting in their art studio at all hours of the night.

Alisha Bose, Director of Communication and Outreach, (she/her)
Alisha is a junior studying Human Centered Design & Engineering. If she's not working, you can find her reading books that are rated 1-star on Goodreads & lying down on the grass contemplating said 1-star reads.
Sophie Geary, Outreach Coordinator, (she/her)
Sophie is a junior double majoring in English and Communications. She loves coffee, long walks, and reading - specifically historical fiction.
Asma Masude, Social Media Coordinator, (she/her)
Asma is a senior studying Informatics and Law, Societies, and Justice. In her free time she enjoys crossing the street and thinking about the ocean.
Harrison Prow, Finance Coordinator, (he/him)
Harrison is a sophomore studying Business and International Studies. He loves listening to Chopin and hiking to see the stars. He also plays for UW Sundodgers Ultimate Frisbee.

Kathie Wu, Copy Editor, (she/her)
Kathie is a senior in English (and frantically trying to decide if she wants to attend law school). She loves tea, crows, creative writing, dreaming of living in a Ghibli movie, and impulse buying far more used books than she’ll ever have the time to get through.
Audrey Goddard, First Year Representative, (she/her)
Audrey is a freshman majoring in English with a minor in Art History. When she’s not writing poems instead of studying, she loves to do yoga, crochet, and listen to Joni Mitchell.
Neeraj Bhogavilli, First Year Representative, (he/him)
Neeraj is a freshman planning to major in English and/or Applied Math. He enjoys the simple things in life like overpriced lip balms, authentic chai, and the color gray.
